# VPN Servers

> Add, configure, and monitor the servers used by the VPN service.

## What this page is for

VPN Servers is where you manage the infrastructure used to deploy VPN connections.

## Server details

When adding a server, the page can record its name, IP address, SSH port, SSH username, country, VPN type, VPN port, and VPN protocol. It also supports a custom VPN port and a maximum connection setting.

After saving a server, use the table to check its online status and configuration. Keep SSH details accurate, since deployment depends on being able to reach the server.

## Server fields

* **Server name**: The label staff use to identify the server.
* **IP address**: The address used to reach the server.
* **SSH port**: The port used for SSH access.
* **SSH username**: The account used for deployment access.
* **VPN type**: The VPN implementation installed on the server.
* **VPN port**: The port clients use for the VPN service.
* **Custom VPN port**: A manually entered port when the standard choices do not fit.
* **VPN protocol**: The network protocol used by the VPN configuration.
* **Country**: The server's location, useful when selecting a server for customers.
* **Maximum VPN connections**: The connection limit used for capacity planning.

The server table also shows whether the server is online, its VPN type, and its IP address. Open **Server Stats** from a server row to inspect recent metrics.
