# Discount Codes

> Create and manage percentage discount codes for selected packages.

## What this page is for

Discount Codes lets staff create codes customers can enter during checkout.

## What you can configure

* Code value
* Percentage discount
* Start and end dates
* Whether the discount recurs
* Number of uses
* Packages the code applies to

You can create, edit, and delete codes from the table. Set clear dates and usage limits so an old promotion does not remain active by mistake.

## Field details

* **Discount code**: The text the customer enters at checkout.
* **Discount value**: The percentage removed from the eligible amount.
* **Start date** and **End date**: The period during which the code can be used.
* **Recurring**: Applies the discount to recurring billing when enabled.
* **Uses**: Limits how many times the code can be redeemed.
* **Selected packages**: Restricts the code to the chosen products.
