# API Integration Detail

> Configure the connection details and notifications used by a BillingServ integration.

## What this page is for

API Integration Detail is the staff-only edit page opened from **API Integrations**. It contains the connection settings for the integration you are configuring.

The fields depend on the integration type. Common settings include a server name, IP address or hostname, HTTPS, port, username, remote or API key, and quantity. Some integrations also use nameservers, panel credentials, customer or invoice mappings, or provider-specific API keys.

## Notifications and imports

For supported integrations, you can also configure Slack or Discord notifications for events such as orders, invoices, payments, new customers, failed API setup, cancellations, support tickets, logins, and staff impersonation.

Some providers include an import action for bringing an existing order into BillingServ. Check the customer and order identifiers before importing.

Keep credentials and webhook URLs private. After saving, test the integration with a suitable package or order before making it available to customers.
